5th - 7th October 2011Amboli is a hill station in Sawanthawadi district of Maharashtra. Being close to Belagavi (70km) it attracts lot of tourists from North Karnataka region. Amboli is famous for its waterfalls and viewpoints.

30th August 2011Another road side falls!! This is at the beginning of Hulikal ghat. As you start descending from Mastikatte (last town before the ghat) you see Chandikamba Temple on your right side. People make a stop here before proceeding further.

Pattadakal is on my mind...Its been almost a year since I visited the World Heritage Site, but the memories of the consummate artistic talent are as fresh as if it were yesterday!

Most trekkers combine their trek to Deoria Tal with a trek to Tunganath. Tunganath is the highest Hindu shrine devoted to Lord Shiva and ChandraShila both of which are approached from Chopta. Walk, Trek, Hike and Reach.
