As SportsMemorabiliaDaily.com has written about previously, there always seems to be a regular occurrence of someone uncovering sports memorabilia treasures from rummaging through discarded items. Many times, it’s an individual cleaning out an attic of a recently deceased relative who happens to unearth a rare sports collectible. This time, instead of relatives in an attic…it was volunteers at a local library in Clermont, Florida…and what they found could be a very valuable piece of authentic baseball memorabilia. As volunteers were sifting thorough a donated box filled with items that included old photos and other seemingly insignificant memorabilia, they found a discarded a postcard with what appears to be the signature of Babe Ruth.
