Hank Hill's insight:

I think that this is an excellent representation of how far from the facts the media has helped the Zimmerman trial go.

Hank Hill's insight:

I think that this article helps to bring a voice of reason to the allegations that the trial that has happened was simply a matter of their skin colors.

Names of six jurors who acquitted George Zimmerman made public Orlando Sentinel (blog) The names of the six-member jury panel that acquitted George Zimmerman in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin have been made public for the first...
Hank Hill's insight:

I think that situations like this is very inappropriate for the media to cover so much. People in juries of such significance could come into danger with people who could feel heated about if they vote one way or the others. Putting a lot of information to the media like they have done could make people very angry towards people in general. Their names I agree should be made public, but I don't feel that so much media space should be put towards it.

DMX: I'll Piss On George Zimmerman's Face

The Game last week made his claim that he wants to take on George Zimmerman in his celebrity boxing match, but now rapper DMX says he wants in, and that he's...
Hank Hill's insight:

I think that this one of the sillier things that the media have created. The media created a huge basis to turn Zimmerman into a so called Celebrity. This made him such a celebrity that it created him to be able to be part of events like this. A celebrity boxing match. In the older days a murder trial would would just give a stigma to a person even if they were found not guilty that would follow them everywhere they went and it would make their lives difficult. Nowadays the media has turned people like this or others in similar situations into icons for others and made them simply famous.

Hank Hill's insight:

This is a good example of how big of a following Zimmerman has gotten through the trial. This has been made significantly higher with the help of all the types of media

Hank Hill's insight:

I think that this is a good case of when social media goes badly. Posting sensitive information like this should have gotten Sue in huge trouble. Things like that should have stayed within the case and never been made public.

Hank Hill's insight:

I think that this shows that once people are on the media path it makes big mistakes like these much more pronounced into the media and what would be a small dispute for most become another media blunder.

George Zimmerman Makes Florida Gun Show Appearance (VIDEO ... | The George Zimmerman Trial | Scoop.it
George Zimmerman was all smiles as a Florida Gun Show this past week as he signed autographs for "fans."
Hank Hill's insight:

I think that this is just the sort of negative sort of behavior that the social media can make. He became a hero in some cases. With all of the coverage made him a celebrity in ways that could not have happened in previous times. Beyond the fact that this is extremely offensive for him to be at an event like that giving autographs to so called fans that could never have happened without the media coverage.
