Justin Caison's insight:

I think competition is good for the industry something like spotify stepping thier game up to compete is good for the consumer and thier publuc relations. Pro's unlimited music streaming. Con's now we have more choices for a music medium, I personally think that is a nuisense I like one universal spot to go for everyone to share music. We will just have to wait and see where this all goes and which site benefits more from these changes. Venturebeat.com is a reliable sources in its information and I trust it.

Spotify is updating its services so it can keep up and be ahead of the music streaming competitors. In this case to the new music streaming application "Beats Music". Spotify is making the application free for users. Unlimited songs and unlimited time use. Even though their making it free it will be difficult to stay at the top because "Beats Music" has support of major companies like AT&T and the NFL. But the real question is: Both Spotify and Beats Music essentially do the same thing, Whats the difference?

Justin Caison's insight:

The net neutrality laws are affecting the streaming business in music and movie services like netflix. Pro's there are really none to this artcile its all bad for us as the consumer. Con's we will eventually begin paying more to stream music because ISP's are going to give us a data limit cap. Eventually if it gets worse we might not see sites liek spotify or sound cloud anymore. This source is creible because forbes is a popular and credbile site.

Almost no one is buying music in stores any longer, but most are still listening, choosing to stream music rather than buy it.
Justin Caison's insight:

No one buys music anymore I believe we can all agree. People choose to stream music than buy it on a disc or even download it off itunes. I like the sound of this because I think wifi willbe everywhere eventually and you will have a cloud of music on the go without taking up space. On the negative side when you don't have wifi then that means you dont have music. This sourse seems credible because the celebritycafe is a credible source.
