A "hackathon" held by the Human Rights Foundation will aim to bring more information inside the very high, guarded walls of North Korea.

Michon Williams's insight:

I love it when the form of action mirrors the value of that action.  Using a hackathon to provide more open access to information, what a synergistic approach!  There can be a lot of fear around more open access to information in any society (regardless of how much information they have today), but I am inspired and excited by the potential in the future as we have more information and greater access to it.  It must be that less information, and edited information can be a greater impediment to social and scientific progress than the risks of open access to information paired with education.
