  I don’t know about you, but I love the natural beauty granite brings to my home improvement projects. I admire its versatility as it can suit the atmosphere wherever it is utilized.

What I love the most about granite countertops, it can take hot items like pots and pans, and is very stain resistant to hot grease and oil if it is sealed with a silicone-based impregnator.

For me, whatever choices you make, just make sure that it is safe to place in the kitchen. Take note, the kitchen floors are prone to water and oil spils when you are cooking which can cause it to become slippery when wet and greasy. Safety first!
