Victoria's insight:

This educational source provided me with more facts concerning the effects of violence within television shows for children. Concern over the impact that television had on children began when television was still a new medium for media and still continue now. During the 1950s, many individuals, particularly parents, asked their legislators to do something about the potentially harmful effects of television viewing on young people.  This is important because it explains that shows once started out clean and educational but now have transitioned into violent showcases.

So What Are They Watching Now

Victoria's insight:

Over the progression of time the children shows have actually become more inappropriate than ever. Often making viewers question whether it’s meant for kids or for young adults. One show is the Regular Show (cleverly titled so if parents will not question) which is possibly the most inappropriate show out right now.  In fact, the show is so racy; a lot of the content gets edited out of practically every foreign dub with some actually being banned. The video above provides the content of the show and illustrates the present stage of children shows.
