Churchill's Dry White Port is an emblematic product for Churchill's and unique in its style. Its rich golden colour denotes its 10 years of age which is also evident in its smooth and complex taste. The alternative aperitif to be served cold at any time of year.

 

Sourcing
The grapes come from specially chosen old vineyards located at higher altitudes in the Douro, sub-region of Cima Corgo.
               
Grape Varieties
A field blend of many varieties including Malvasia Fina, Códega, Gouveio and Rabigato.
               

Tasting Notes

A vibrant golden colour with grated nutmeg and eucalyptus on the nose. On the palate it is fresh and complex with a long peppery finish. (June 2011) Cellaring Recommendation: This 10 years old Dry White Port is filtered and ready to drink now. Once opened it will keep well for up to one month. Recommended Serving Temperature: Serve chilled (8º-10º). Decanting: No need to decant. Serve straight from the bottle.

The great Quinta do Bom Retiro is located in the Douro sub-region of Cima Corgo, in the parish of Valença do Douro, Pinhão. The estate straddles the diminutive waters of the river Torto.and comprises a total surface area of 109 ha, at an altitude of  between 110 and 400 metres, 62 ha of which are planted with vines.... this property is the jewel in Ramos Pinto's Port wine crown.
