Ready, aim, fire is about beginnings, not about successful completion.  Progress is not completing. With creativity, the author laments, you're never really done.

I think this is a great article. While getting at the idea of motivation from the negative standpoint I think that this article has great do nots when it comes to try and motivate employees. To often bosses treat their employees like idiots which begs the question, "Why did you hire this person in the first place if you thought they were an idiot?" I think that by knowing what not to do you can easily ccatch yourself when you  realize you are projecting  these behaviors.
