My friend, Faisal (a talented young Photographer from London) began a great Photography Project at the beginning of this year and which he intends to carry through the remainder of this year. It is called, “What is Skateboarding?”
The idea and concept behind this Project is very simple, yet truly effective and indeed, interesting. Faisal will photograph a Skateboarder every week and caption the shot with a brief interview which will aim to highlight what Skateboarding means to the subject of the portrait and why they possess a passion for this activity.
Therefore, if you too are a Skateboarder, considering to be involved in Skateboarding, a Photographer, a Photo Enthusiast (like me), or merely wish and want to explore the world of Skateboarding, then I highly recommend you to visit and view Faisal’s impressive Project. I hope I am even more fortunate to actually visit Sir Richard Branson's beautiful Safari Camp at some point in my life.
