Though some teachers are still adamantly holding onto traditional formal lectures, many others are considering whether this is an ineffective and outdated model that no longer works in the information age.

Seeking productivity gains, is a constant challenge faced by business owners everywhere, and knowing where to start is a key element to succeeding in such an endeavour.

Many business owners try large initiatives in order to achieve productivity gains, however most such initiatives flounder due to inherent problems associated with resistance to change, and owners get frustrated with their lack of success and often falling rather than rising productivity.

This excellent article, suggests taking small steps rather than great leaps, and it provides 10 tips to follow to improve office productivity.

MOOCSs: 20 ways to monetise

MOOCSs: 20 ways to monetise | The Core Business Show with Tim Jacquet | Scoop.it

No one should deliver a MOOC without considering income but pure ‘monetisation’ is the wrong term, as a MOOC is an activity that needs to be seen in terms of both costs and income over time. So I’ll come at this as if it was both an income and cost issue, namely its impact on your profit & loss account. Note also that an institution could position its financial goal as an investment, aim for break-even or go for profit. Monetisation is ot just about profits.

OS X 10.9 Will Make The AppleTV Even Better | The Core Business Show with Tim Jacquet | Scoop.it

Apple will greatly enhance multiple monitor setups under OS X 10.9. These changes also effect the AppleTV. Apple will basically turn the AppleTV into a wireless second monitor, users will be able to move windows to the AppleTV, while leaving the current monitor left for other things.

Look for the AppleTV to become more popular this Fall in the business world when OS X 10.9 is released.

Stephanie Smetana's curator insight, July 9, 2013 4:15 PM

I scooped this article from Bonnie Burns, and I loved the way she commented, "It’s an SEO + Social Media + PR win." This is so true of the PR and social media world. It's all about gaining trust and getting your brand out there, while still reaching for the top places in a Google search.

Another important aspect of this article to note, is Trond Lyngbo's comment that you should not just include social media into your SEO strategy, you must also integrate all these things together: SEO, social media and public relations. If you intelligently integrate all of these, the impact is multiplied; to compete, companies must evolve and integrate.

you master them , unlimited horizons open , and you can make countless

other numbers...

But , how to be sure , what solid foundations mean ?

And where to find them !

The same , as the " roots" of this tree , firmly rooted on the ground...

But ,It can only " GROW" until a certain hight , because " PROGRAMMED"
