Eli Levine's curator insight, April 19, 2014 1:26 PM

After reading this, it's no wonder that our government is so slow to change.

There are many working parts within each agency, and each agency has to work together in order to produce optimal results.  Couple in the facts that it spans globally, it is responsible for carrying out highly complicated policy tasks for the societ(ies) in which it works with and operates within, and then you don't always have the most competent or caring of people operating the systems from on top or from down below carrying out the operations.

We need competitive perks for our government employees, and then we need to get rid of those who are not up to snuff with their capacities to care or do for the sake of others across all Federal, state, county and local levels.  Unfortunately, due to constraints by the tax payers who fund the government(s) of our society, and the voters and the people who are currently occupying top and middle range positions in our government, this is not likely to happen at all, in time to save the government from the wave of resentment that's building in our own society, let alone, to save it from the wave of anger that's been building against it from within the whole of human society.

It's a question of changing government function and logic, not a question of eliminating the government itself.

Yet no one is going to listen to me, in time for this to be salvaged and saved.

Idiot species!

Think about it.

The Human Dimension Of Change Management

The Human Dimension Of Change Management | the Change Samurai | Scoop.it

Today the world is changing faster than ever and businesses must evolve fast or die. In part this is driven by the pace of technology adoption.
