DeLAND, Fla. - A woman was trampled by a bull on Saturday during a "money grab" at the Cracker Day event in DeLand, officials said.
The woman was also possibly gored in her left arm at the 64th annual Cracker Day, which offers bull riding, barbecue and rodeo competitions at the Volusia County Fairgrounds.
According to witnesses, the woman, along with about 30 others, jumped in the arena to play a game called "money grab," the object of which is to snatch a ribbon tied to the bull's horn and win cash.
After trampling over the woman a second time, the bull was eventually captured.
The woman was taken to a hospital in an ambulance after being treated by paramedics at the event. She also suffered a laceration to the arm...
