A Deerfield Beach High School teacher says she’s outraged with the backlash she’s received following an unusual accusation.
Juliet Hibbs was investigated by the Broward County Public Schools for inappropriate misconduct. The report stated that a parent was concerned that Hibbs possibly contributed to her daughter's homosexuality.
Asked if the charge against her is true, Hibbs replied, “Of course not, you can't turn anyone gay. It's so absurd."
She said Principal Jon Marlow has it out for her, and claims that he is bullying her "because I am quote ‘have a big mouth and I'm not apologetic.'”
Hibbs claims that the bad blood between them began when she challenged a school-related contract. After that, Hibbs said, she was denied access to school property, sabotaged and written up when she was late or missed classes due to health issues...
