to have so much energy it radiates and spreads to others…
to literally jump out of bed every morning prepared to face any challenge or explore any possibility…
to reach our fullest potentials, and as Thoreau said, “live deep and suck out all the marrow of life…”
What does health mean to you?

Over the past 300 million years, ocean pH has been slightly basic (alkaline), but that is changing rapidly. Ocean acidification is putting ecosystems at great risk.
In the same way, the human body is in danger when too much carbon dioxide and acidic waste builds up in the blood. The acidosis puts the organ systems at great risk.

Have scientists been looking at heart disease from the wrong angle? The answer may be yes, according to the results of a new study.

"Jan. 14, 2014 — Treatment and "cure" of breast cancer doesn't ensure that the disease won't spread to the brain. Too often, sometimes years after an initial diagnosis and remission, breast cancer cells are discovered growing as new tumors within the brain. Now City of Hope researchers have found how this happens.
"The most dreaded location for cancer to spread is the brain," said Rahul Jandial, a City of Hope neurosurgeon who led the study, available online and slated for print publication in theProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences in February. "As we have become better at keeping cancer at bay with drugs such as Herceptin, women are fortunately living longer.
