I was wondering how I could get the girls to be healthier, and this article brought to my attention that they wouldn't be in the best shape possible unless they totally changed their diets. I understand that volleyball is competitive, but unless you play on a completely dedicated team then I don't believe meal changes are necessary.

It’s not quite the Fountain of Youth, but it may be the river that leads to it. In a paper published in the journal Lancet Oncology, scientists found that a small group of men who made changes in the way they ate and handled their emotional needs showed longer telomeres in their cells.

Moderate exercise, and a regular intake of oily fish fatty acids, keeps elderly immobility at bay.

Findings of a recent trial show that women aged over 65 who received omega-3 fatty acids gained almost twice as much muscle strength following exercise than those taking olive oil.

During healthy ageing, muscle size is reduced by 0.5-2% per year.

This process - known as sarcopenia - can result in frailty and immobility in old people.
