They include marketing and presenting projects to acquire new jobs, consulting with clients about their demands, estimating the factors of the projects, preparing scaled drawings of the project, and more.

Architects may contribute in determining its impact on the environment, site selection, and the analysis of costs.When the initial proposal is concluded, a finalized plan is drawn which shows building’s appearance and details on its construction. It is accompanied by drawings of the structural system, such as ventilation.
Architects must be mindful of building codes, disability regulations, and other requirements.
Architects may also help clients find contractors and negotiate construction contracts. They may visit the construction sites to ensure that all details of the project are being followed thoroughly.
Traditional pen and paper have been replaced by computer-aided design and drafting and building information modeling.
