Bahrain, Syria and the Revolution

Bahrain, Syria and the Revolution | The Arab World 360° | Scoop.it
The Arab World 360°'s insight:

So According to the pro-NATO Arab propagandists; the popular uprising inBahrain is Sectarian violence backed by Iran, whereas, the Military Conflict in Syria is the greatest Arab revolution.

That is exactly the same for the US-backed Muslim brotherhoods who work (as long-term aim) for establishing the Muslim Caliphate.. Surely this will occur through Camp David, QIZ and Gas Agreements with Israel..

Principally, The revolution is a process, with ethical sides. Pragmatism and Anti-Tyranny can not be together.

Is There Any Shifting In the U.S.-Iranian relation?
The Arab World 360°'s insight:

Secretary of State John Kerry said on Friday that Iran has a role to play in defeating ISIL.  Addressing a meeting of the United Nations Security Council, he said that the military alliance put together by the US and its allies is only one part of the task, and that the other is political.  He seemed to suggest a role for Iran in that political settlement....

Zionists commit crimes against humanity. No comparison should be applied between people who defend themselves and occupation forces. Neutrity has no place between killers and victims. What Palestinians ask?1. To end the siege over Gaza strip.2. Stop Settlers assaults against Palestinians.3. To avoid dissolving their unity government. Is it a war crime?

Escalation in Palestine

Political Analysis, Comments, Articles and Opinions on Palestine and the Arab World
The Arab World 360°'s insight:
Here is short story to understand the situation in Palestine. "An elephant was stung by an ant". Then the elephant is hitting his four limbs on the ground randomly, hoping to find and revange. Lets imagine the damage that occured by that elaphant during 'revange trip'. I don't prefere to talk about suffering of Palestinians under occupation. Kind of complaint! The elephant is suffering too, by the way. Despite his marvellous power, he was stung by poor ant. Does any one believe that elephant has drones, nuclear weapons, spies all around and local allies!! If the elephant ( i.e., Israel) kills thousands of ants (i.e Palestinians), would it sleep tight?! Sweet dreams baby, zzzzzzzzz

The Crimean War

The Crimean War | The Arab World 360° | Scoop.it
Political Analysis, Comments, Articles and Opinions on Palestine and the Arab World
The Arab World 360°'s insight:
Medical literature and heritage are among my interests. While I was reading, I found some surgical writings on the Crimean War (1853-1856). The war fought by an alliance between Britain, France, Turkey (Ottoman empire) and Sardinia against Russia. MacLeod's Surgery notes on the Crimean War, 1862 Current Western-Russian escalation is repeating the same geography, with different reasons. The Crimean War (1853-1856) was, apparently, due to religious reasons, whereas the actual reason was "France, Russia and Britain were all competing for influence in the Middle East, particularly with Turkey. Religious differences were certainly a catalyst in the Crimean War. Control of access to religious sites in the Holy Land had been a cause of tension between Catholic France and Orthodox Russia for a number of years and in 1853, the conflict came to a head with rioting in Bethlehem, which was then part of the Ottoman empire ruled by Turkey. A number of Orthodox monks were killed during fighting with French monks. Tsar Nicholas I blamed the Turks for these deaths." Until months ago, Crimea peninsula was part of Ukraine, one of the former USSR's major republics. However, Russia has finally regained control after pro-Western 'Ukrainian nationalists' --in fact, they have right-wing fascistic ideology against Russian-speakers in the eastern and southern territories-- overthrew the pro-Russian government. Thereafter, 'Cold War' has been erupted again between Russia and the Western bloc; competing for influence in Ukraine. Returning to the War of Crimea (1853-1856): "the spark was a religious dispute over who should be the guardian of the Ottoman Empire’s Christian minority, especially in the Holy Land: Orthodox Russia or Catholic France. Napoleon III sent his best ship, Charlemagne, to the Black Sea to defend France’s claim. That, together with aggressive diplomatic and financial inducements, sharpened the minds of Ottoman leaders, who declared in favour of France. Russia responded by invading the Ottoman-controlled territories of Moldavia and Wallachia (roughly, parts of modern day Moldova and Romania) and sinking the Ottoman fleet at the Battle of Sinope in 1853." "In a statement on February 18, [2014] the Russian Foreign Ministry said the escalation was a "direct result of connivance by Western politicians and European structures who since the beginning of the crisis have shut their eyes on the aggressive actions of radical forces. It called on the Ukrainian opposition to "refrain from threats and ultimatums and establish a substantive dialogue with the authorities with the aim of extricating the country from deep crisis." It also said the opposition was no longer in control of the protest movement. The Russian Foreign Ministry statement came amid renewed clashes between riot police and antigovernment protesters in Kyiv"

World Cup In Qatar ~ The Arab World 360° | The Arab World 360° | Scoop.it
At least 1,200 workers enduring slave like conditions have died creating infrastructure in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup that a FIFA executive just claimed won’t be happening, although Qatari world cup chiefs refute this. Theo Zwaniger says that he does not believe Qatar’s climate is mild enough to host the event. Qatar contend that they will be able to cool the stadiums, while Zwaniger maintains that the World Cup goes on in many places other than inside the stadiums, putting tourists at risk.

Editor's Pickup | Find Inspiration In These Words From Albert Einstein On Embracing Nature ~ The Arab World 360°

Editor's Pickup | Find Inspiration In These Words From Albert Einstein On Embracing Nature ~ The Arab World 360° | The Arab World 360° | Scoop.it
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

Albert Einstein wrote these words in a letter in 1950, to a man named Robert S. Marcus who was grieving for the loss of his son to polio. Though they were originally words of condolence for death, they can be read as words of inspiration for embracing life, all life.

Beyond The War On ISIS ~ The Arab World 360°

Beyond The War On ISIS ~ The Arab World 360° | The Arab World 360° | Scoop.it
The Arab World 360°'s insight:

Since the 9/11 attack, a new era has begun in favor of the American neoconservative elites.
Bush's administration declared war against al-Qaeda, and promised the American people to punish every person involved in 9/11 catastrophe.
Bush accused the former Iraqi regime of supporting al-Qaeda prior Iraq's invasion, and he also accused saddam's regime of reserving weapons of massive destruction. However, these accusations are now well-known to be deceptions. In fact, Saddam's regime was secular totalitarian regime which fought religious-based militias and assassinated many religious figures inside Iraq.

Putin : A close friend of Israel | The Arab World 360° | Scoop.it
The Arab World 360°'s insight:
It is not uncommon belief that Vladimir Putin is one of Arab friends and/or "anti-imperialist". Putin said during meeting with a delegation of rabbis, led by Sephardic Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, former Chief Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau, Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar, and rabbis of the Rabbinical Center of Europe (RCE): "I support the struggle of Israel as it attempts to protect its citizens. I also heard about the shocking murder of the three youths. It is an act that cannot be allowed, and I ask you to transmit my condolences to the families," added the Russian president, in referring to the abduction and murder of three teens in June by Hamas terrorists." Source: Arutz Sheva
