Who will win the race to 4,000? @ScentTrail or http://www.pinterest.com/scenttrail/. Pinterest, led by King & Queen of Pinterest deserves little engine that could build community in much less time than Twitter. Twitter deserves the "Big Bat" award since content shared there seems to go the furthest fastest. Both social nets help each other. Doubt Pinterest would have grown as fast without Twitter's help (or Scoop.it for that matter :). M

There is so much to do with these platforms that it seems fun to turn getting these results into a game and then deciding where you are winning. Do you take this metric game to the next level and calculate your return on participation by figuring out how much revenue you can attribute to having earned as a result of being there and participating at the level you do ?

Fast Company calls "visual social media" the breakout trend of 20012. I agree. I've been calling this the battle of the visuals over the textuals with the visuals clearly winning. And why not?
