Crowdfunding is growing up FAST.

Forbes' commentary is very shallow. PayPal does not "freeze companies" on a whim and certainly would prefer not having to do so. However, fraud is pervasive and fighting fraud is all but easy. New payment systems that pretend to "simplify" payments often backtrack when fraud hits them for real.

Evaluating A Social Ecosystem: Social Selling's New KPIs

Evaluating A Social Ecosystem: Social Selling's New KPIs | Thank You Economy Revolution | Scoop.it

Creating New KPIs

I wanted to know the extent of my personal brand's current ecosystem. Reach has three components:

* Inner circle (friends and family).

* Outer circle (so called "loose connections")

* FOF  or Friends of Friends

I wanted to benchmark where my social ecosystem is today because there are no neutral marketing actions. Even doing nothing is now a full-blown action that brings consequences (decay of links and rank).

This is my first stab at creating a new set of Key Performance Indicators for social media marketing so ROI may be more accurately estimated.

Google Analytics When FREE Is Expensive - Is There A Drop GA In 2013 Movement?

Google Analytics When FREE Is Expensive - Is There A Drop GA In 2013 Movement? | Thank You Economy Revolution | Scoop.it

Great well reasoned article here about why the author has decided to drop Google Analytics.

Martin (Marty) Smith's insight:

Great article picked up from my friend @1918 about why it may make sense to drop Google analytics in 2013 in favor of a @SpringMetrics (http://www.springmetrics.com ) or some other metrics provider. With GA's "Not Provided" climbing up close to 50% FREE isn't as valuable or cheap as it used to be.

If you really want to know what your website is doing, and you do, spening a little money may be much cheaper than FREE.
