Daniel Kalfas's curator insight, October 15, 2014 1:37 AM

This is a great example of environmental migration because people generally don't like to live in hot, and dry climates. The massive drought in California paired with its huge state wide water consumption makes it a very difficult place to sustain, and make life comfortable for its residents. With the new tighter limits, and restriction on water use many people will want to leave the state in search of places with a similar climate, and more water.
