Was Content Marketing für die Medienbranche bedeutet | Texten fürs Web | Scoop.it

Live Blogs outperform other online news formats, study says

In a guest post for Online Journalism Blog, Neil Thurman highlights a new research report that suggests that Live Blogs outperform other online news formats by up to 300% and are seen by readers as more transparent, trusted, and ‘factual’ than conventional online news stories.

Moments that Matter ... Moments that Don’t | UX Magazine | Texten fürs Web | Scoop.it
As consumers access more information across emerging media channels and new devices, marketers have responded by perceiving every new interaction as an available touchpoint to connect with and engage their target audiences. This has created an overpopulation of brand messaging that has had the reverse effect of dangerously distancing consumers at critically important buying moments.

It's all about Visual Storytelling. If you make Comic's or Animation movies the most important thing is the story it self: Both genre is Visual but both need the same thoughts behind them to make a great script and  let it become alive.

With ThingLink, Interactive Images in Tweets | Texten fürs Web | Scoop.it

We’ve given ThingLink a lot of love here at 10,000 Words, but the easy-to-use interactive image-maker merits another post because of its new functionality: working on the Twitters.

Users can now share an image on Twitter complete with any created ThingLink meta-data, and it’s all accessible in the tweet itself.

„Cross… Ja, was denn nun?

The New, Convoluted Life Cycle Of A Newspaper Story - 10,000 Words

The New, Convoluted Life Cycle Of A Newspaper Story - 10,000 Words | Texten fürs Web | Scoop.it
News must be really hard to follow for an everyday consumer of a newspaper website. First tweets go out, sometimes with no links to additional coverage. Then a few grafs go up on a blog, followed by additional updates, either to the top of that post or as new posts. Eventually, a print story gets started, which is posted through an entirely different workflow onto a different-looking story page. This version is usually written as an hourglass-style narrative, following typical print conventions. For the rest of the day, new updates start going to this story rather than the original blog post. Having a hard time following? Here’s a graphic to help:

Die Mensch-Maschine: Alles fließt - SPIEGEL ONLINE

Die Mensch-Maschine: Alles fließt - SPIEGEL ONLINE | Texten fürs Web | Scoop.it
