Senior Neighbors program director helps people write their life stories | Tennessee Libraries | Scoop.it

Turning 50 this year has had a positive impact on Angela Beairsto. After college, she taught first grade for several years, married and raised four children. Now that they're grown, she said, she's ready to give back.

 

I contracted with the local library to teach writing classes all across the city to senior citizens. I wanted seniors to realize that each one had a story to tell. And they did.
