The second annual Brentwood Middle School spelling bee was a tight affair, with a tie for the win.
Tied for first place were Nelson Rose (seventh grade) and Ananya Arcot (sixth grade), and receiving third was Sophia Chang (seventh grade). The three students will complete in the regional spelling bee Feb. 15 at the Brentwood Public Library.

The Kinseekers of FFG met Thursday, January 7 for a casual Chat 'N Chew session.
