In the summer of 2016, Becky Coleman and Lori Warren partnered with Steve Hicks, Gale Customer Success Manager and Tony Bottrell, Gale Usage Services Manager, to create a HCDE District Library Website and 70 Individual School Websites for the Hamilton County Schools.
John Wesley Harding was one of the most notorious outlaws of late 1800s Texas, facing down such well-known law keepers as “Wild Bill” Hickok. Known to have killed more than 20 men, Harding was finally arrested in 1878 and sent to federal prison for 14 years.
The Tennessee State Library and Archives recently awarded more than $300,000 in technology grants to 114 public libraries across the state. The grants, which are distributed annually, are funded by Tennessee state government and a federal agency, the Institute of Museum and Library Services. In order to qualify, recipients must have dollar-for-dollar matching funds from their local governments.
