Library awarded grant to continue archiving project - The Cleveland Bradley County Public Library recently received a grant to continue its preservation and archiving of county court records by the Tennessee State Library and Archives.

About 5,000 books went home with new owners after the annual book sale this weekend at the Jackson-Madison County Library downtown, organizers said. By Sunday, the final day of the three-day sale, folks packed books into bags for $5 a load.
