Please make plans to join The Center for Children's & Young Adult Literature (CCYAL) and Union Avenue Books as we celebrate "Seven Impossible Things Before Breakfast" blogger Julie Danielson's first nonfiction book, Wild Things! Acts of Mischief in Children's Literature, co-written with Elizabeth (Betsy) Bird and the late Peter Sieruta. 

 There will be a small reception at Union Avenue Books from 5:00-6:00 p.m. (EDT), and a lecture in the Patrick Auditorium (Room 321) in the Communications Building on the University of Tennessee campus from 7:00-8:00 p.m. The reception and lecture are both free, and Julie will be signing books at the reception.  Who: Julie Danielson When: November 11th, 5:30-6:30 p.m. (small reception and signing), and 7:00 p.m. (lecture), all times are EDS Where: Reception at Union Avenue Books, 517 Union Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37902; 865-951-2180 Where: Lecture at the University of Tennessee, Patrick Auditorium (Room 321, Communications Building, 1345 Circle Park, Knoxville, TN 37996); 865-974-7918 Julie Danielson is internationally known for her blog, "Seven Impossible Things Before Breakfast," http://blaine.org/sevenimpossiblethings/, where she interviews authors and illustrators, showcases noteworthy children's book art, and blogs about children's books. According to her official biography, she has been a judge for the Society of Illustrators' Original Art Award and the BolognaRagazzi Awards at the Bologna Children's Book Fair in Italy.
