Donald R. Curtis, author of And Should We Die: the Cane Creek Mormon Massacre, will sign copies of his book at the Lewis County Public Library on March 6, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Curtis, a sixth generation native Kentuckian and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, has spent over 20 years researching the Morman Massacre and interviewed many local people in preparation of this book. His works have been included in books by other authors and publications, such as the Kentucky Encyclopedia, and the Kentucky Explorer. Copies will be for sale during the event. The library will be adding it to its collection.
Members of the community are invited to attend the free program, which will take place at the library. For more information about the program, contact the library at 931-796-5365.
