Brentwood Middle School

The second annual Brentwood Middle School spelling bee was a tight affair, with a tie for the win.

Tied for first place were Nelson Rose (seventh grade) and Ananya Arcot (sixth grade), and receiving third was Sophia Chang (seventh grade). The three students will complete in the regional spelling bee Feb. 15 at the Brentwood Public Library.

The Kinseekers of FFG met Thursday, January 7 for a casual Chat 'N Chew session.  While nibbling on delicious snacks, we welcomed several new folks, and shared what some had individually achieved in their genealogy research in 2015.  We discussed what we'd like to see Kinseekers accomplish in 2016, including bringing in a couple professional guest speakers.
