En el presente informe se destacan algunas de las tendencias que van a marcar el cambio del modelo educativo en los próximos cinco años. En la infografía anexa se representan una serie de “momentos” en la cadena de valor educativa que van a impulsar la transformación tecnológica en esta industria.

El objetivo es mostrar, de forma general, un conjunto de innovaciones que se perfilan como  herramientas y recursos de aprendizaje a corto plazo y que van a consolidar la estrategia de integración tecnológica en el sistema educativo.

El futuro del aprendizaje se proyecta en el corto y medio plazo como “customizado”, adaptado a los ritmos y contenidos que cada estudiante necesita en cada momento, en función de sus capacidades y sus preferencias. Esto es posible gracias al método del aprendizaje adaptativo, cuyo valor se encuentra, entre otras cosas, en la recogida de información, gracias a herramientas como Big y Small Data, sobre los hábitos de aprendizaje, conocimientos, debilidades y fortalezas de cada usuario para crear un plan de estudios a la medida.

Al igual que ocurre con los métodos de aprendizaje, los sistemas de evaluación también sufrirán una transformación orientada al espacio digital. La figura del docente tradicional adquiere nuevos roles y surgen, de este modo, nuevos perfiles en el ámbito educativo, como el de content curator definido por la especialista en Social Media, Dolores Reig, como aquel profesional que se dedica a hacer una selección personalizada y de calidad del mejor contenido y de los mejores recursos sobre temas específicos; en el ámbito educativo, el docente también puede sacar partido a las TIC, actuando como curator o guía propiciando un desarrollo de habilidades y aptitudes que los alumnos podrán adquirir de forma autónoma y en comunidad. La puesta en común de estas tendencias, organizadas en una cadena de valor del sector educativo con diversos ejemplos, nos invita a reflexionar sobre aquellos retos a los que se enfrenta la educación en la actualidad. El futuro está abierto, todo está por hacer y todo es posible.

The Short Road Between Collective Intelligence and Curation: Howard Rheingold interviews Pierre Levy [Video]

Another great video interview from Howard Rheingold, this time with "Collective Intelligence" guru Pierre Levy.

I found this video very insightful nonetheless the answers and explanations Mr Levy provides are absolutely simple and clear to understand for anyone.

In essence what emerges from the dialogue is that in the process of doing "serious", "quality" curation, even at the personal level, me and you are helping others understand and make sense of their world more easily. It is a virtuous circle and it is certainly an act of collective intelligence from this viewpoint.

Spells out rules for netiquette.  Good way to start out with students who are used to posting on social networks and ranting.  In the comments, the college stated that teachers can reprint this for their classrooms as long as they give credit to Touro College.

Para 2030, todos los educandos habrán adquirido los conocimientos, las competencias, los valores y las actitudes que se precisan para construir sociedades sustentables y pacíficas, mediante, entre otras, la educación para la ciudadanía mundial y la educación para el desarrollo sostenible: meta 5 de los Objetivos del Desarrollo Sustentable (2016-2030).


La UNESCO, en el marco de los Objetivos del Desarrollo Sustentable (2016-2030), plantea siete metas específicas para la educación. A tres de éstas les falta todavía el porcentaje que debe de alcanzarse para el año 2030. Idealmente sería el 100 por ciento, como se plantea en las otras cuatro metas. A reserva de conocer el porcentaje preciso transcribo aquí la siete metas:

La tecnología elimina barreras y facilita la comunicación pero la educación nos permite saber cuándo debemos utilizar otras vías.
