This is an amazing collaborative whiteboard where multiple users can edit a multimedia board in real time. The site allows you to signup and sign in using a Google account and you can access and add your files and media on your Google Docs/Drive area making this a fabulous companion to schools using Google Apps for education. You can write by typing or you can write in 'freehand' so you can use your interactive whiteboard to write and archive the lesson to use or refer to later. Via ICTmagic

Shona Whyte: TImothy Healy gives examples of using a wiki in language teacher training:
"- A professor asks learners to elicit from their native-speaking tutor linguistic words and structures for carrying out specific speech acts and then post them on a page devoted to this purpose for review by the class. In class the page is displayed and the forms are reviewed and commented on. Then learners construct appropriate sociocultural situations and choose the words and structures that match them.

Silvia Rosenthal Tolisano (Langwitches blog) tries out TinyTap, "a new app that caught my eye for its potential to make students creators and designers of games on the iPad."
Shona Whyte: Read her account of using the app with older learners to make language learning games for younger schoolmates. Interesting for the method and learner comments as well as for the app itself. Delete the scoop?
