I like that the market is changing and developing new ways to outsource content creation to fit your personal needs. I think it is neat that they are trying to diversify the small market to fit the bigger need with more companies using social media marketing. Zapty is a new one with a very clean page, I like that most accounts are free and premium are just $2 a month. Bitrix24 was another cool one that was described as Facebook for businesses. Its new update allows people to add as many users to their free accounts which is nice for synchronization. Konsus is like a social media freelancing matchmaking site to find the right freelancer for your needs. They send the final price through quality control and you only get the invoice when you're happy with the work done. Overall this site has lots of great new tools that you can find to outsource your content this year.

Everything the tech world says about marketing is wrong

Everything the tech world says about marketing is wrong | Web Design, Web Development & SEO | Scoop.it
The biggest problem in marketing in the tech world today is that too many marketers do not know the first thing about marketing.

Digital marketers — who, as marketers, really should be cynical enough to know better — have fallen into an echo chamber of meaningless buzzwords.

20 Ideas for Professional Development in the Digital Age

20 Ideas for Professional Development in the Digital Age | Web Design, Web Development & SEO | Scoop.it
What is professional development?  It is pretty much anything that helps one develop professionally. At the heart, professional development is about growth and learning.  In the field of education, it seems like many quickly think of educational opportunities that mimic what they see in their schools. As a result, they turn professional learning and education into schooling.  The problem with that is that schooling is too limiting.  In this age, there are many other exciting and high-impact learning opportunities for teachers that extend beyond traditional notions of schooling.  When we hear the phrase “professional development,” certain practices likely come to mind, things like in-services and conferences. In the digital age, there are countless other opportunities for professional development and restricting one’s thoughts to just a few options limits our insight into what is possible for our students.  With that in mind, here is a brainstorm of 20 options available to educators today. This is far from an exhaustive list, but it is enough to start exploring the possibilities.  Feel free to suggest others in a comment to this post.

20 scénarios d'accompagnement au développement professionnel de l'enseignant. Des idées très intéressantes et moins documentées y figurent ...

Gilles Le Page's curator insight, April 27, 3:20 AM

Influencer Marketing May Be the Antidote to Ad Blocking

Influencer Marketing May Be the Antidote to Ad Blocking | Web Design, Web Development & SEO | Scoop.it
As marketers sink more of their budgets into online advertising, consumers grow increasingly frustrated with it.

Ad-heavy pages cause slow load times and, in some cases, make getting to the content difficult for readers and social media users. Who wants to watch a two-minute pre-roll before watching a two-minute movie trailer? It's being served an ad before watching the ad you wanted to watch.

The more aggressive and intrusive the ads get, the more online users become desensitized, and ignore, skip, or even block ads.

7 Tips For Winning Brand Loyalty

7 Tips For Winning Brand Loyalty | Web Design, Web Development & SEO | Scoop.it

Are your clients faithful to your brand? Or are you just another option in the saturated sea of product and service providers in your industry? One of the biggest (and arguably hardest) inbound marketing goals to achieve for your brand is the tiny area at the very bottom of your inbound marketing funnel right after conversions — brand loyalty. Achieving brand loyalty is, one can say, the “nirvana” of inbound marketing. This is when you know your clients are not merely delighted with your products or services, but they also believe in the mission, vision, and culture of your brand. And as we all know, loyal clients are the best testament to the success of our brands.Brand loyalty does not only herald return clients to your business but also reinforces the most powerful form of advertising known to men — “word of mouth”. Every client who swears by your products and services will be inclined (and even eager) to share their experiences with your brand. In the digital age, one genuine testimonial can be a powerful thing.loyalty-01305341#sRFL0pP230L8vbQ9.99

Building a Keyword-Driven Content-Marketing Strategy Is Key

Building a Keyword-Driven Content-Marketing Strategy Is Key | Web Design, Web Development & SEO | Scoop.it

It’s a common misconception that SEO and content marketing are two mutually exclusive business strategies. They’re not. In a way, it used to be true -- keyword-stuffing once helped pages get ranked well, even if the content wasn’t valuable.

Now, that’s not the case. Search algorithms have succeeded at offering the valuable content that people are looking for -- which is the main goal of content marketing. That’s why it’s now possible, and even fairly simple, to build a keyword-driven content strategy

How to Create a Compelling Call to Action | Web Design, Web Development & SEO | Scoop.it
If your content doesn't include a call to action, you are leaving lots of money on the table that will never make it into your pocket until those CTAs are put into place. Simply put, a call to action tells your readers to do exactly what you'd like them to. And if your copy is intriguing enough, your readers will have no problem taking action.

While focusing on conversions during CTA creation is essential, your copy doesn't need to be "salesy" in order to be effective. Here's how to create balanced calls-to-action that result in new customers, newsletter subscribers, and even brand ambassadors for your business:

How to Master Video Marketing on LinkedIn | Web Design, Web Development & SEO | Scoop.it
After creating a marketing video, most brands distribute their videos through YouTube, Facebook, or other paid media options. But what about LinkedIn?

LinkedIn is one of the most important networks for B2B marketers. It boasts over 350 million registered users and sets itself apart with a more professional, business-savvy audience. However, most companies underutilize the platform, which means video content on the platform tends to be underutilized as well.

For marketers who do promote their videos on the channel, LinkedIn can be a goldmine. It offers a great opportunity to stand out in the crowd and promote targeted, B2B video campaigns that reach a professional audience. If your brand has yet to focus on LinkedIn, here are five ways to boost your video marketing efforts with LinkedIn and grab the attention of your prospects.

3 Tips For Creating Infographics To Boost Your Content Marketing Strategy

3 Tips For Creating Infographics To Boost Your Content Marketing Strategy | Web Design, Web Development & SEO | Scoop.it
hen it comes to digital marketing, there are few techniques more widely used than the infographic. And when used effectively, they can provide a serious boost to any content marketing campaign. As noted by Forbes, “When your content is compelling, design can and should be used to communicate this information.” Many companies have found infographics to be an effective manner to communicate content in a clear and concise manner.

The problem is, many infographics produced today are pretty horrendous. Many are confusing or simply fail to provide relevant facts. And while some infographics are able to stand on their own, others become completely useless when removed from the context of the article with which they were originally published. Perhaps that’s part of the reason why infographic production has fallen in decline in recent years.

But effective infographics can supercharge a content marketing campaign, and indeed, continue to be more effective than other types of online content. Research by BuzzSumo found that on average, infographics vastly outperformed all other types of content in terms of online shares—especially on social media.

It’s clear that when an infographic is done right, it can provide a big boost to an article or company. So what makes an infographic truly effective?
