Socrative is a smart student response system that empowers teachers to engage their classrooms through a series of educational games and exercises via smartphones and tablets. Our apps are super simple and take seconds to load and run.
Donny Anderson's insight:

It should be illegal to buy a student iPad with the Socrative app not already installed.  $1000+ classroom response systems are now a thing of the past with this free app.  You can poll your classes on yes/no, true/false, and multiple choice questions.  The Socrative teacher app gives you instant bar graph feedback from each student.  There is also a quiz builder that teachers can "pre-build" and students can complete at their own pace.  Socrative will even grade the non-subjective answers (short answer, fill in the blank,...) for you!

An exit ticket builder and competitive game builder is also included in this free app.
