What is surprising is not that countries like China and Russia are expanding drone programs, but that smaller less advanced countries are not expanding the technology. How long before we see Gaza and Israel launching drones at each other. Will the suicide bomber be replaced by a small delivery drone able to carry 20 pounds? The reason this is all going to eventually happen is the inability to keep drone technology secret. It is a growing private market with many avenues of abuse available.
