Beth, happy to see you like it too. The thanks should all go to David, who really did a great job.

This is an evergreen interesting topic.  I was especially intrigued with the title up above that said "Social Media Job of The Future".  There might be a lot of prescience (sp?) in that choice of words.

This is a very fine starting point for those who are passionate about something that might have information to collect and share. Currating can offer an exciting challenge to keep updated on that topic of interested, share the updates or simply catolog the informational links for future personal use. This slide presentaion will help improve curated pages or help someone start to curate.

Annotate the Web with Popcorn Maker | screencast tutorial - The Digital Shift | Technology in Art And Education | Scoop.it

"Popcorn Maker, a tool for enhancing and remixing Web video from Mozilla, holds a lot of potential for educators, according to Linda W. Braun. The library consultant and educator, who created an earlier tutorial on make-your-own infographics, takes the free, browser-based application for a spin in the following screencast."

Beth Dichter's curator insight, January 14, 9:15 PM

If you have wanted to learn how to use Popcorn Maker check out this video tutorial. Learn how to use the drag and drop, insert text, images, Google maps and more. Final projects may be shared (that does require that you create a log-in) and embedded in web pages. Braun's final comment is "“For school and public librarians, teachers, and parents who work with kids and teens, there are a lot of possibilities."
