Stoneage Artists Created Prehistoric Movies: Discovery News | Technology in Art And Education | Scoop.it
Realistic artistic scenes were created by Stone Age-era people in France to represent animated movement.

In a recent article published in 'Antiquity' an archeologist and artist "argued that by about‭ ‬30,000‭ ‬years ago Paleolithic artists used "animation effects" in their paintings. To render the movement, they deconstructed it in successive images." They wrote "Prehistoric man foreshadowed one of the fundamental characteristics of visual perception, retinal persistence."
