Using technology in education is incredibly important today...but we must remember WHY we want our students using these tools and not accidentally make the tool itself the objective.

Google said in the updated thread that starting on August 20th, "some pages managed in the new Google Places for Business dashboard will be automatically upgraded to have social features."

I am so thankful for the tools I get to use in the ministry. I remember the good old days they really weren't that good in the tool department. Since I've been ministering to kids a lot has changed with technology.

My day is a combination of activities that I would consider 'work' and those I would consider 'play'. Much of what I have learned exploring new technology and learning how to apply it has come as a byproduct of 'playing' as much as it has by 'working'. I admire Jim for his work ethic, but I would not condemn him for having fun with the technology in order to learn more about its work environment application.
