Edcanvas is a website that allows practitioners to collate online resources onto a single page for their learners to access.

These canvases can be shared with learners...

- via a URL link or

- by embedding into a blog/VLE/other webpresences.
A canvas creation is quite straight forward.

Down one side of the page is a search column that lets users search YouTube and Flickr as well as add resources from Google Drive and Dropbox and upload directly.

Those resources can then be dragged onto the canvas.
It’s another way of providing learner access to a number of different resources via a one stop shop, rather than having to share lots of different URL’s.
Learners could also use Edcanvas to collate their own canvases as they do research on given topics.

Curriculum: Understanding YouTube & Digital Citizenship – Google in Education

Curriculum: Understanding YouTube & Digital Citizenship – Google in Education | Technology for school | Scoop.it

Google just launched a set of 10 interactive lessons designed to support practitioners in educating learners on digital citizenship.

Google (which owns YouTube) built the lessons to educate learners about...

- YouTube’s policies,

- how to flag content,

- how to be a safer online citizen, and protect their identities.

Follow this link to access the list of lessons, and the recommended flow for delivery.

Lessons are designed to fit within 50 minute classes, but can be adapted to fit a different schedule(s)

There is even an entire YouTube channel of related videos that should be of interest to anyone looking to teach about digital citizenship.:
