Edcanvas is a website that allows practitioners to collate online resources onto a single page for their learners to access.
These canvases can be shared with learners...
- via a URL link or
- by embedding into a blog/VLE/other webpresences. A canvas creation is quite straight forward.
Down one side of the page is a search column that lets users search YouTube and Flickr as well as add resources from Google Drive and Dropbox and upload directly.
Those resources can then be dragged onto the canvas. It’s another way of providing learner access to a number of different resources via a one stop shop, rather than having to share lots of different URL’s.Learners could also use Edcanvas to collate their own canvases as they do research on given topics.
