The Solar Impulse technical flights have begun! There will be at least 4 of them over the coming weeks. These flights are designed to check the aircraft’s maneuverability and responsiveness in preparation for this spring’s Across America mission – which will kick off starting May 1st. They are necessary to ensure proper functioning and overall safety of HB-SIA which has undergone fulldisassembly and reassembly in March for transport from Switzerland to the United States.

One of the only well preserved dinosaur skin samples ever found is being tested at the Canadian Light Source (CLS) synchrotron to determine skin colour and to explain why the fossilized specimen remained intact after 70-million years.

The dilemma these scientists are facing would be funny if the answer wasn't so sadly simple... the sample is not anywhere near as old as they believe.  The problem is, their faith in Darwinsm and Old Age theory is blinding them to this possible (and obvious) truth.

It is amazing how many things we used to think of as science fiction are becoming reality, today.  I read a book when I was just learning to read called, "You Will Go to the Moon."  At that time, no one had landed on the moon;  in fact, the idea of a human being breaking orbit was still future, and the first man in space had only just made world headlines.  Now, commercial excursions into space have begun (albeit still very expensive) and it's only a matter of time until tourists begin traveling to the moon.  Here on earth, driverless cars are already traveling our highways, and researchers believe they have figured out how to use telepathy to operate things like the just invented Google Glass...
