A new mind mapping tool for creating mind maps online. To learn more about it, click Help ("i" on the toolbar).

All the editing tips are displayed on the default mind map.

When you save the map, you get a unique URL for your map.

Primary Education -Springboard Program

Casey Smith's insight:

Springboard has a wide variety of childrens books ranging from Prep - Year 7. Each year level has a wide variety of reading levels. I believe that Springboard is a program that needs to be purchased through your school for access, however if you are able to purchase this program I would highly recommend it. All you need to do is link your computer to the interactive whiteboard or allow students to access the program on the computer and you have a fantastic interactive English lesson. Students can point to words they struggle with, or have the whole book read to them. Fantastic for reading groups.

Jenni Atkinson's comment, May 20, 2013 5:54 PM
I think students would find this tool very engaging and it is a great way to differentiate assessments allowing students a choice of presentation tools.
Kaaren Sweeney's comment, May 29, 2013 9:59 PM
I think this has the potential to be an excellent tool for the lassroom. Not only would it allow for differentiation as Jenni had stated, but would allow ESL students an avenue to express themselves through various means other than just writing.
