Teachers will now be able to search for and recommend learning content by category, grade level, and a variety of other criteria, and will have the opportunity to discover content recommended by other educators, for example. What’s more, every piece of content served within its curated portal is pre-approved by educators before being posted, so that teachers can rest easy knowing the recommended content is quality and school-appropriate. Absolute Leseempfehlung!
And that’s ultimately the biggest difference between the Hyperserials and the legendary shows that spawned them: a purer, more intense focus on one linear, series-long plotline. Hyperserials tend to do away with recaps, teasers, and exposition of any kind. They make even less sense when viewed out of order"
Rogério Rocha's curator insight,

IN A certain sense, all television is addictive. This should be pretty obvious, given that Americans watch more than five hours a day, on average. At that rate, a person who lives to the age of 80 will spend 21 percent of his or her adult life—the equivalent of 4,175 days, or nearly 13 years—in front of the tube.

Delete the scoop?

I will be honest, I held a silly grudge against Tumblr because they kicked me out about once every three months due to a password conflict. I used it enough to see the value, but I never dove in very deeply. I wasn't impressed with their customer service. I watched others create intriguing sites.

I'm finally realizing that Tumblr is going to have to be my alternative to Posterous. I can only hope that Tumblr's recent acquisition by Yahoo will be a positive. Hopefully Yahoo is tired of being a distant #2 and won't mess Tumblr up like Twitter did Posterous.
What I do wonder is why there doesn't seem to be much clear information out there about Tumblr. Myself....I always found it kinda confusing. I never had confidence in navigating around it and I got tired of see weird shit on what I thought was MY blog every time I logged in. Delete the scoop?
