Here's a database of research articles and videos curated by the University of Michigan about learning and teaching. Lots of thought about Google Apps.  Solid resource!

Here's a video lecture from David Merrill a long time pro in ID.   He reminds us to show, not tell, and to offer quality opportunities for quality application.  Motivation (based in learning) Plus Substance is the key.

Free Assets from the E-Learning Community » The Rapid eLearning Blog | Technology Advances | Scoop.it

Most people aren’t active participants in the elearning community. That’s OK. No one expects you to sit on the couch, eating bonbons, and chatting in the community. Most of us tend to use the community for quick help and then we go back to work.

Not being an active participant means that it’s possible you miss some really good stuff in the community. So in today’s post I am highlighting some of the free assets that your peers have recently shared in the elearning community.

The eLearning Weekly Makeover

Welcome to eLearning Weekly Magazine, the next phase in the life of the popular blog eLearning Weekly. eLearning Weekly has been sharing practical “tips and tricks and lessons learned” since founded by B.J. Schone in 2007. Hundreds of posts later and hundreds of thousands of readers later, we are letting the blog grow up to the magazine it has become with new writers and editors and a creative team of elearning professionals specializing in graphics and video.

The move to a magazine format has been a gradual progression ever since Schone brought on Eric Matas as the Managing Editor of eLearning Weekly in 2010.The technical aspects of the transition, from WordPress.com to WordPress.org, would follow some content changes like the interviews and LMS spotlight pieces that Matas added.
