Block Posters | technologies | Scoop.it
A free poster maker to create massive wall posters from your own images! Free!
John Dalziel's insight:
I'm sure that many practitioners, and/or learners have at times wished they could take a really cool image, infographic or flyer and transform it into a poster.
If you are one of those people, check out Block Posters a free web-based tool, practitioners (and learners) can utilise to create huge personalised posters using a standard inkjet or laser printer.
► Upload an image to the Block Posters interface (jpg or gif format only),
► determine the desired printing preferences (number of pages, paper size, orientation),
► click the “Create My Poster!” button and voila!
You’re ready to download the file containing your poster.
All that’s left to do is print the file and assemble the resulting giant poster!
Yes, it’s that simple!

Darebee: Workout Posters for Any Exercise

Darebee: Workout Posters for Any Exercise | technologies | Scoop.it
Free no-equipment visual workouts for all fitness levels.
John Dalziel's insight:
It is helpful to have a visual reminder of personal workout routines.
It’s one of the reasons why individuals watch workout videos or follow along with TV instructors to get into shape.
But, to be fair, video isn’t for everyone.
Darebee lets users put on their headphones and pump away, while simple posters guide their exercise.
The Darebee site is full of workout posters that can be printed on standard A4 sheets, or on a larger A3 sheet as well.
Users can choose from a variety of workouts, including some fun ones inspired by popular culture, like “the Batman workout” or “the Hunger Games workout”.
At the time of posting this, there were 619 workouts in the database which can be filtered in a number of ways, such as...
■ by type

Free Posters - Poster-Street | technologies | Scoop.it

Download and print high-quality, custom-illustrated free posters for learning environments, work and/or home! No registration required!

Posters provide viewers with, from whatever they are engaged in, a journey, no matter how long or short it is, into the world of meditation and contemplation.

Two thinking strategies that benefit our learners; isn't it the ultimate goal of education to bring up critical thinkers who will be ready to process information before taking it in rather than rote memorizing information?

Posters can help as long as they are changed regularly; that will give life to the purposes for which they are being used.
