FlipQuiz | Gameshow-style Quiz Boards for Educators

FlipQuiz | Gameshow-style Quiz Boards for Educators | technologies | Scoop.it
John Dalziel's insight:

FlipQuiz, which is currently (March 2014) in beta, can be used by practitioners to create quiz boards that are great for reviewing before an assessment.
Although the resulting board looks like Jeopardy, learners do not have to answer in the form of a question.
The boards can be an alternative to flash cards, and learners can connect to their practitioner's board anywhere they have Internet access.
Practitioners are able to use their boards over and over, and the best part is that it's free!

Flash/Flip cards are a good way to learn and have a little fun whilst doing so. Great for revision and recap.

John Dalziel's insight:

One for learners to help memorise for example an exam.

For some learners it can be very difficult to recall facts by simple reading.
What has been proven to be more effective is the use of flashcards.
CardKiwi is a site which brings the concept of flashcards into a digital format.
Learners can create their own sets of cards based on whatever they need to remember.
