John Dalziel's insight:

This interactive graphic, (shockwave file), includes important information in the form of answers to questions learners might raise when discussing the topic of copyright.
To start using this resource all you need to do is to hover your pointer over a student to read the question then click on that student to read the answer.

ImageStamper | Stay Copyright-safe | technologies |

ImageStamper will give you peace of mind when it comes to using creative commons images.

ImageStamper is a free tool for keeping dated, independently verified copies of license conditions associated with creative commons images. You can use it to safeguard your use of free images from license changes, or to prove you are the original image creator.

Currently the service works with images hosted on Flickr, but we are assured ImageStamper will soon add support for images hosted on deviantART and a number of other image-sharing websites.

- copy a video URL to your clipboard
- click the blue “Paste URL” button; this will automatically detect the video, and open the format dialog.
- choose the format, quality and destination folder you want the clip saved in,
- the video will start downloading to the path of you've choosen.
Note: users can restrict the download speed, if they’re trying to save bandwidth.
Note: as with all downloader tools, it is your responsibility to ensure you are not breaking any copyright laws etc.
