What's that?
Apple TV is a box users attach to the projector / TV that picks up the screen of any iPad and displays it without the need for wires!
Practitioners can walk around their learning environments and display anything that’s on their iPad screen on the Projector/TV.
This means the practitioner can display from anywhere and even use the iPad's cameras to show learner work ‘live’ without gathering other learners around one point.
In workshops and similar learning environments, Apple TV can reduce Health & Safety risks.

Looking for an easy way to assess learners on their ability to summarize and synthesize relevant information while still allowing the some room for creativity!
Well this post provides a PowerPoint template that allows learners to work through the main elements of a movie, such as plot, cast, crew, reviews and soundtrack, without having to spend a lot of class time creating the movie itself.
To use it, just download it as a PowerPoint file and share with learners. They simply fill in the blank spaces with their own information. The links and buttons are already established, so there isn't any additional work for them!

PicMonkey is free (although there is a paid version, but the free one has all the features most learners and practitioners need).
Crop, resize, add text, turn into B&W photos or collages, PicMonkey is ideal for editing photographs for presentations or for blogs and much more.

It’s incredibly easy to use – upload your photo, edit it the way you want and download and insert it into your presentation etc.!

There’s also an extension for Google Chrome. (I know you're stuck with IE).

Try the Storyboard Generator with learners where they can...
- choose a script and create a storyboard; or
- try building their own storyboard using background location photographs.
Once done, they can save and share their storyboard video with friends.
Note: Learners need to register with Generator first if they would like to save their storyboard.
Learners can also gain a deeper understanding of the context of various stories through Generator's Education Themes section.

Another big plus is the time limit isn’t just a few seconds. Users can record as long as any typical YouTube video would last, so all users really need to worry about is their Internet speed.

Picozu is an interesting web-based image editor that’s fast, the UI (User Interface) has several useful features.
Picozu lets users both edit and create new images from scratch.

Picozu is written in pure HTML5 and CSS3 and requires no Flash or other plugins.
Users can...
- upload load images from their computer or
- directly import photos from cloud-based accounts like SkyDrive, Google Drive, Facebook or Dropbox.
- fire their webcam and capture images direclty inside Picozu.
The application also offers a layer-based editing workflow seen in editing software like Photoshop or GIMP.

There are dozens of filters and image-effects to give photographs a distinct look, and/or users can use the regular tools and brushes to manually enhance their photos.
