CompassLearning - Learning Profiler

John Dalziel's insight:

CompassLearning has created a Learning Profiler that is free to use and the results are easy to share.
The resulting information could be helpful as a starting place for getting to know the learners on a course. It would also go a long way in helping practitioners identify resources and tools that will best meet the needs of individuals.
When learners have finished going through the profiler, they can share their result “badges” with others through a link to the badges, through Facebook, Twitter, email or a printed report.
This would be a good getting-to-know-you activity, at induction, where learners could visually see their similarities displayed.
An alternative, would be a one-to-one session with learners. This would alow practitioners to get additional information from the learners; providing better picture of who they are, what they love, fear, get excited about, etc.
Yes it will take time but the information gleaned will be invaluable!
Try it out.
