Drag any file to the menu bar. Choose 48 hours or one download. Torpedo will automatically copy a link to your clipboard that you can send to anyone you’d like. All they need is a web browser. Ideal for practitioners and/or learners.

Volafile.io

Volafile.io | technologies | Scoop.it

Volafile.io is a place for real time filesharing on the internet.

John Dalziel's insight:

Volafile provides a simple real-time file sharing service.
Users share files in what's called 'rooms', which consist of a chat and a list of uploaded files. The list of files automatically shows new files as they are uploaded.
The time behind the filenames indicates the time remaining until the file is deleted.
To upload something...
- Click the button that says 'Upload' in the upper right of the page or
- drag the files from the computer into the page.
To avoid files opening in a browser, instead of downloading, users can Right-click on the file and choose 'Save as'.

Send large files for free. Share up to 4 GB per upload and 50 GB per day. Create a bucket and collaborate with others
John Dalziel's insight:

With FileBuck.it, practitioners and/or learners can upload 4 GB for free, so sending lots of small files or a few very large files is no longer a chore.
NOTE: It doesn't have to stop with one upload, users can send up to 50 GB a day, all at no cost.
By creating a File Bucket, users get a central location for them, their learners, colleagues and other stakeholders to share files.
