"Announcing a product during a major event like Google I/O takes some real courage, especially when you’re revealing a device that’s extremely similar to a product Google is headlining with. That’s what Recon is doing with the Jet, a wearable device that’s drawn instant comparisons to Google Glass."

"The nightly recharge is a fact of life with most modern smartphones, and the HTC One is no different, but what if you could double your runtime and protect your expensive new toy in the process? That’s what Mophie promises from the Juice Pack for the HTC One, a combination external battery and hard case that, when wrapped around your phone, should let even the most ambitious power-user escape the tyranny of the charger. All that flexibility comes at a price, however: $99.95 and a considerably larger device in your pocket."

Bodelin's ProScope Micro Mobile is a microscope that mounts on the iPhone. "Optics manufacturer Bodelin is no stranger to hand-held microscopes, having previously brought us a series that can be connected to the USB port of a laptop. Given that smartphones are in many ways replacing laptops, however, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Oregon-based company has now introduced its ProScope Micro Mobile – it’s a lab-quality microscope that mounts on the user’s iPhone."

"Part of the Galaxy Camera's appeal is undeniably the convenience of a constant cellular connection, but if a $500 price tag and monthly data tariff aren't quite your style, perhaps this new $450 model will be a bit more palatable. Samsung announced this WiFi-only flavor back in February, but it's just now ready to hit US retailers, beginning later this month."
